At Urbanite, we specialise in working with organisations so they maximise their property assets.

We help private landowners, clubs & Government to diversify their revenue through property and maximise their property assets. We are a team of degree qualified property valuers and land economists. We work with property owners across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, retail, F&B, registered clubs, hotel, seniors, aged care, disability, fuel portfolios and development projects.

Our role is to identify the various options for their surplus land, undertake detailed economic analysis on the various options, manage risk and due diligence, and ultimately create a clear development pathway for the client to maximise their assets. Given we are not builders or developers, we can provide independent advice to our clients.

Services & Solutions

Whilst we offer a range or property advisory and consulting services to NFP’s, private sector and registered clubs, most come to us when they have underutilised property assets and want guidance to get the most out of their property strategy. 

Club’s, in particular, are usually seeking to diversify from gaming revenue, unlock capital for renovations or a new club build, de-risk the project and create reoccurring revenue. We do this under the following service offerings;

  1. Options assessment and economic analysis of the proposed project scheme
  2. Review the clubs capacity to self-fund a project or need for a JV partner
  3. Create a development pathway and run a DA process if they can self-fund
  4. Run an open and transparent EOI process if they need a JV partner to deliver the development project 
  5. Guide the board through the JV selection process, including ensuring they geta. Strong commercial outcome, do due diligence on the developers and derisk the deal. 

Our Property Team

Our Property Team are all qualified valuers with degrees in Land Economics and Urban Estate Management, as well as our Senior Strategy Team who hold Masters degrees in various property disciplines.

The team is lead by Anna Porter, who has worked with investors and management teams to develop robust property strategies for a variety of organisations, including the roll out, acquisition and disposal of assets, reallocating the use of underutilised assets, as well as setting and meeting development milestones.

Anna has also worked with TAFE NSW, helping them develop their current degree course in property valuation and has been interviewed for her expertise across major media outlets including a regular weekly appearance on Channel Seven’s Sunrise program to discuss the latest property trends, as well as regular commentary for media and publications including Australian Financial ReviewAustralian Property Investment Magazine, The Australian, ABC National Radio, 2UE, Sky News and many more.
