Urbanite’s Valuation Division is independent, unbiased and professional.
Established in 2012, all of our team hold Certified Practising Valuers (CPV) accreditation with the API and have many decades of experience in mortgage and government compliance and valuation work.
We specialise in providing reviews and audit for some of the largest property owners in the country, including Viva Energy (Shell branded fuels) and Ampol which includes over 500 properties reviewed annually for land tax objections purposes. These are reported to the company, the Valuer General’s office and include many specialised assets.

Our Experience
We specialise in government, institutional and corporate valuations. With a strong history in complex valuation appointments for compulsory acquisitions, fair value, objections, insolvency, senior peer reviews for the VG’s office and rental reviews for large commercial/industrial holdings.

- Transport NSW for compulsory acquisition
- Over 10 local councils for voluntary acquisition
- Viva Energy Australia (Shell branded fuels) Valuer General land objection portfolio including service station sites and refinery sites
- McDonald’s Australia for their acquisition portfolio
- Planning Department NSW for voluntary acquisitions
- Westpac Banking Corporation (internal portfolio, not lending)
- Appointed to the Property and Development NSW Panel
- Annual engagement to undertake complex valuations and peer reviews for the Valuer General Objection, including a number of substantial sites valued between $300Mil to $550Mil per site
Insolvency specialists
Our team specialise in coordination of real property assets in both personal and corporate insolvency. Often appointed by receivers in bankruptcy, we work closely with the receiver and stakeholders to maximise the assets realised market value. Our services include;
- Valuations – We source suitably qualified valuers with local knowledge.
- Agent Selection – We source quotes from sales and leasing agents and assist in the appointment of the most appropriate agent for the asset and market.
- Site Readiness – We manage furniture and rubbish removal, as well as coordinate any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Risk and Compliance – We conduct WHS reviews for inspections and insurance purposes to ensure the asset meets regulatory requirements.
- Return on Investment (ROI) Assessment – We provide an objective review of any capital works to assess ROI and commercial viability.
- Comprehensive Reporting – We deliver high-level, detailed reporting across all of the above services, tailored to support informed decision-making.
Our engagements typically span residential, commercial, and more complex development assets. For active development sites, our role often extends to coordinating with councils, builders, trades, and other key stakeholders. These appointments require hands-on management and a deep understanding of project risk, compliance, and delivery.


Executive Team
Our broader valuation team consists of over 15 experienced property professionals across Australia, allowing us national coverage. Our executive team are all senior CPV valuers and includes;
Anna Porter, has been a valuer since 2003, has been a part time teacher in the valuation degree course for 15 years and specialises in insolvency work.
Jeff Natoli, has his masters degree in property valuation and development and specialises in commercial property advisory.
Nick Barlow, has held previous roles as head of commercial valuation for Herron Todd White Sydney for many years and specialises in commercial valuation and peer reviews.
Adam McDiamond, holds specialist government appointments as well as undertakes peer reviews on over 500 assets annually for national fuel companies.
